![]() The M1 processor is still relatively new ( released November 2020) and VM platforms are certainly aware of the need to support Windows VM environments. For those that currently own an M1 MacBook and need to run ArcGIS Pro locally, this is currently the only option available. Refer to your VDI vendor’s documentation to see what versions are current for installing on M1 MacBooks. For schools or institutions that currently support VDI infrastructure (Citrix, VMWare Horizon, Parallels RAS, Amazon Workspaces, etc.), ArcGIS Pro is supported. Virtual desktop infrastructure, or VDI for short, provides the ability to run applications like ArcGIS Pro over the internet and serve them through a browser. For updates related to x86 Windows support on a M1 VM, or Windows ARM, please refer to the Parallels website for news/updates.The caveat here is that users would be relying on a VM ‘technical preview’, to load an OS ‘insider preview’ (Windows 10 ARM), to install ArcGIS Pro (not yet supported on Windows 10 ARM), so this isn’t an option yet. There is currently a ‘tech nical preview’ that has been released to support Windows 10 ARM.Please refer to the VMWare website for the latest news/updates.There is currently no roadmap or technical preview of a VMWare product that will support M1 (as of this writing ).The 2 major vendor details for support are curre ntly as follow s : There is currently no VM client that can be installed locally to support a Windows VM (as of this writing ). ![]() I can give you a low rating and delete the game because it's not fun. Then you ratchet up the difficulty so quickly that I have no choice but to spend more more money. Then you want me to pay money for the ability to earn enough "wool" to buy more towers and start all over again. Then you want me to pay money for "slots" so I can use those towers in the game. But all the cute graphics in the world aren't going to make how hard you're trying to nickle & dime me into paying like $20 to play this little game into a fun experience. Then I would find that fun, and give you a good rating. Maybe you guys should just focus on writing a good game and charge a fair price for it up front, rather than relentlessly trying to get me to pay more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more money for it. All around great free to play game and definitely worth the install! Do the same for the fifth pool, which you should make the one in front of you rather than the one to the right as there’s only a coin in that box. You’ll want to aim for the pool to your right for your fourth move, and again move as soon as the spikes have passed overhead. Leap into the third as soon as the spikes pass above the second pool. Move into the first pool and then wait for the spikes to be perpendicular to you before you move into the second. You’ll need to keep the dash button - Y - held down the entire time in order to successfully make each jump and keep the camera angle looking down from above. Then it’s time to fling Cappy onto one of the fire balls and make your way through the lava until you hit the platform. But, before you start this section, recoup some health by hitting the three yellow boxes to find one, single, heart and a few golden coins. Stage Four entails becoming one of those fire balls - officially known as a Lava Bubble - and leaping from magma pool to magma pool while avoiding roaming spikes. Do the same thing again with the last two poles - swinging and waiting until they’ve gone into the lava and are coming back up before you move. Don’t stop swinging until you hit the pole that’s set slightly higher than the rest. Wait for them to go into the lava, start winding up your swing and then leap when they’ve just emerged from the red stuff. The next three poles move up and down into the lava, so you absolutely have to time your jump. Shimmy to the right and, when you can, jump to the first red pole and then wait. Again shimmy around to the right, jump to the fifth and then wall bounce between it and the fence until you can reach the sixth. Move around to its right side and then wait a second until you can jump through the gap to the fourth column. Shimmy around the right of the first two columns and the wall jump between the second and the metal fence until you can jump to the third. In the column section try not to stop until you reach the poles. ![]() All of them eventually dunk you in the hot stuff, so you’re going to have to be quick. Then it’s a test of your timing and agility, as you’ve got to navigate your way across a series of columns and poles suspended over lava. |
